High-Purity Silica Feedstock for Advanced Applications
Custom Abrasives produces a high-silica industrial sand from our Picayune, Mississippi facility. With silica content of approximately 99.5%, substantial on-site reserves, and an estimated nearly 100 years of remaining dredging potential, our mine offers a plentiful, long-term domestic silica feedstock for specialty and higher-purity applications.
For projects requiring greater purity, our material can be evaluated for additional beneficiation and purification to meet specific chemical and physical requirements.
When your process depends on clean, consistent material, purity is not optional. Custom Abrasives industrial silica sand is 99.5% silica, free of chlorides, and pH neutral, supplied from our production facilities in Louisiana and Mississippi and delivered by our own fleet.

Custom Abrasives does not currently market its standard silica as certified HPQ. We offer a plentiful domestic silica feedstock and welcome opportunities to work with customers and processing partners to evaluate higher-purity applications.
